a cold front

so i hear a dripping noise from the kitchen and assume a tap has been left on, so off i go to investigate and i find the central heating boiler leaking. the whole thing is broken and so either we sort out a new boiler or we freeze this winter, tough choice.

only British Gas want to charge us £27 for going onto a scheme where they come out and repair your heating, however online they say it only costs £14.50. seems like my tea's gone cold again.

Migraine hell

ok i suffer from migraines, so when i get one i don't look forward to the day. however i just got some ibuprofen migraine tablets which seem to be helping. this morning when i got a migraine coming on i took the tablets, sat down for a while and then, against all odds, the migraine went away. so i packed my bag with my lunch and decided to pootle off to work, a little late, but feeling much better. five minutes into the journey the rain came down. a fifteen minute walk to work turned me from happy and dry to miserable and wet, soaked through.

great
