Pressure stepped up on Mugabe

At last there will be change in Zimbabwe. The pressure has been mounting over the last few years and now it looks like the big boys are weighing in. Recently we have seen the arms trade to Zimbabwe run into problems and financial sanctions have also been tightened. There are also rumours of Mugabe not being allowed to leave his country. Finally the UK government announced that Mugabe's honourary Knighthood would be removed. But all to no avail.

Mugabe stood as the only condidate in the presidential election, and it looks like he may just win. However, all is not lost, because now it is the time for the world to unite, to take a stand and make a real difference. This isn't the time for anctions, this isn't the time for removing pointless decorations... this is the time for facebook. No Robert, there is nowhere for you to hide now

It is official, I am uncool

I am pleased to announce to the world that I do not belong to any of the top 25 pages / fansites on Facebook... 'how cool is that?'

Proud to be independent! And if you think that is sad, then just remember that 'sad' is 'happy for deep people' (Thanks Steven Moffat)

I am seriously considering ditching facebook

In no relation to the link at the bottom of this post I am seriously considering ditching facebook. I am concerned that my profile appears on pages with advertisements from such companies as I would prefer not to be associated with... it works both ways capitalists!
